November 22, 1963. Dallas, TX. The military industrial complex hijacked the United States of America via the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The accused- a twenty three year old ruffian who stood like Atlas wearing the weight of the world on his whole being. Worn down by a lifetime of preparation for a single moment in time, not knowing with certainty when it would be, but just that it would come crashing down upon him with the weight of a generation and a country’s innocence. Lee Harvey Oswald has since born 49 years of aggression for a crime he did not commit and has become the subject of great debate by common man to philosophers, engineers, poets, prophets, and beurocrats to have been buried in ft worth, tx with a granite stone simply marked, OSWALD. His mother - that poor woman who may never have known the full heroics of her son- whom the phrase “Between a rock and a hard place” was unknowingly prophetic about his sad life- is buried next to Lee without a grave marker in order to shame her. May a later generation commend her and honor her as giving birth to a real life reluctant hero who got caught up in a mess bigger than any normal man could dream to stop. The assassination of America’s King.

Remember when we blew up the servers at Paste Magazine with my Contrails video premier? LET'S DO IT AGAIN!
a few months ago, the fine folks at Paste Magazine asked me and the boys to stop by in the morning to play a concert for them and the sleepy eyed staff. We might have been a tad hung over and road weary, but that is no reason no to yell and sweat at 11am…then we went and ate waffle house next door. a perfect morning in Atlanta.
